Floral and light strawberry aromas. The taste was raspberry and cranberry with a touch of oak. Nice, light and ok with veggie lasagna. Moderate acidity with a medium finish.

Berries and discrete floral notes on the nose, and a smooth and fruit-rich palate with generous but pleasant acidity. Short on the finish and simpler than I would hope for. Drink now.

Tuesday dinner wine. No depth, but fruity taste and easy to drink. Balanced and round, fresh acidity.

graemeg's note is consistent with my experience with this wine. I didn't really enjoy it all that much -- overall seemed too tart and imbalanced. This was a pop 'n pour - perhaps a long decant would help even it out.

{cork, 13%, A$16} Big, fruity and youthful nose of raspberry & cherry fruits, and a touch of woodiness (not really oak however). The palate is solid and chewy, although a tart spinal acidity emerges after the initial wave of fruit has faded. Minimal tannin really, apart from some grape-skin derived astringency; the palate lives on the acid and ripe fruits. Tomato in a glass... It's medium-bodied, with a short-medium length finish; not especially cerebral but a ripe modern-type wine to …

Bright ruby color. Restrained red fruit aroma. Lush entry of bright red plum that flows into classic Barbera acidity that is balanced nicely by the good fruit. OK.
