I suppose this was a technically correct wine of its age, but the fruit was gone and it showed high salinity. Unfortunately, this had been totally overshadowed by the bottle of 1948 Unico we drank beforehand. Our taste buds had been overwhelmed by the richness and relative sweetness of the Unico.
