running the gauntlet: some 08 Beaujolais Nouveaus : nose: nice light aromas of strawberries, chalk, and bits of sweet cherries along with bits of bush fruits and some bubblegum tones. A bit more complexity then I was expecting, and fairly nice taste: a good amount of bubblegum with a bit of strawberry. Simple, but very easy drinking overall: An average wine, but very drinkable and decent. There are some nice aromatics and very easy drinking and forward on the palate. …
