Tasted on private tour with members of Three Borders Wine Group (Hampshire UK), tour facilitated and led by Tim Syrad of Tim Syrad Wine Tours. A blend of 50% cabernet sauvignon and 50% nero d'avola, 18 months in oak/barrique respectively. Dark blackcurrant colour. This is a big wine, cabernet dominated, with the nero d'avola giving a subtle background. Good.

blend of CabSauv and Nero d''Avola. Dark red in the baloon, at the note an explosion of red ripe fruit and elegant oak, seductive and classy. At the palate consistent hints of red fruit, leather, wet leaves and underbrush. After oxigenation some enticing notes fade away but the overall experience remains fully enjoyable. More than I expected. With M&S after a risotto with scampi and parsley
