We tasted this wine after a 4 1/2 hour decant, consuming it with ribeye steaks, corn, and Caesar salad. Our bottle was much better, apparently, than those consumed by previous reviewers; it featured generous black cherry, grape, leather, and topsoil aromas and flavors. All of these figured in the finish, along with some Iron. This wine was quite pleasing and satisfying, and I wish I had purchased more bottles than I did.
