Superb CC in a very good place right now. Has all the high-toned fruit and elegant freshness of Radda Chianti but with more heft and body than usual; lovely, bracing, acidic finish. Perhaps just a tad out-of-balance due to 14% alcohol; would love to revisit in a year (alas).

Drinking with friends XV - Restricted edition (Riccione at Marco's) : Bel rosso rubino. Piacevole naso variegato con profumi primari di viola e melograno, secondari di sottobosco e una chiusura di schietta arancia sanguinella. In bocca equilibrato, di buona freschezza e dal tannino ancora un pò giovane. Chiude con leggera astringenza su ritorni di liquirizia e arance rosse.
