This was OK and displayed typical Pinot Noir characteristics, but doesn't have anything to make it stand out from the crowd, which at this price point it should.

Excellent Pinot from central otago. Fresh and complex. Old world style. Lots of fruit, minerals, earthy notes.

Big style pinot: Nicely concentrated deep red cherry fruit, red currant, flint, spices, nutmeg, med-light weighted palate but plenty fruit and spice and wood. tannins are fine, but strong, lingering. Well balanced. All up, a good wine, more for the drink soon ~4 yrs [Diam (cork) sealed]

Very slightly jammy notes to the dark hued fruits, slight whole bunch stalkiness, cedar and earth back this. Juicy, fleshy, some flour textured grip on the mid palate, a smidge of liquorise joins the dark hed fruit . Long. Okay.
