La Stoppa Ageno

This seems flawed, though tough to tell with skin contact. Other vintages haven’t had this deep orange color. Has a sweetish taste, the orange descriptors are correct.

Burch's BBQ Bonanza (Smokestak) : Orange wine. For me more of a curiosity - very "natural", almost cidery quality. I suspect that my reaction to this says more about me than it does about the wine.

Really packed with flavours like apricots, honey, overripe red apples. Density is thick and taste is intense and long. I believe it really has to be served well chilled, 8-10 C, otherwise it lacks freshness. Maybe a bit to much, allthough interesting to try!

Deep and spicy nose with loads of ripe stone fruit, dried yellow fruit, dried citrus peel and floral overtones. Full bodied, good tannin structure and medium acidity. Great intensity to the flavors and long lingering finish with a little bitter twist of spicy orange peel. A big and serious wine that I prefer as a contemplation wine rather than a food wine but it worked great with our tortellini in cream sauce.
