Warr-King Wines Descendant

I liked this at the winery a few years back, but it's a hot mess at the moment. High alcohol, an odd green olive and fruit note, a bit light on acid. Not good.

The 2014 red blend is made up of 51% Cabernet Franc, 27% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec, 5% Syrah and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark fruit and allspice on the nose. Marionberry, violets and vanilla on the palate. It has a dark chocolate and berry fruit finish. This wine highlights the best of Washington State.

Pretty well all the Bordeaux grapes plus syrah Green, floral and red fruit aromas All pervasive tannins, green pepper, then raspberry and loganberry, dusty and spicy tannins Edgy acidity underlying the fruit Nora likes - the hard edges of cab franc are nicely toned down

Lacking both depth and drinkability. A bit jammy and muddled. I thought it was tolerable, but the wife voiced her dislike.
