Château Maillard Cuvée Vieux Chêne

Pleasant, if not very distinguished, little wine. Medium color, some red fruit on the nose, along with some weeds and barnyard. A bit light on the palate, with some attractive cherry flavors, and light tannins. Nice mineral notes, and a little Graves earthiness on the finish.
