Maison Albert Bichot Fixin

Medium nose shows black cherry, raspberry, herbal tones, wet rock, iron. Palate is nicely juicy, balance of fruit and structure, finishes dry, dried spice. Good value choice.

This was just fine, nothing special. Paired nicely with our beef carpaccio course (which perhaps I would have rated higher than the wine). But still a very approachable and fruit forward pinot that I wouldn’t hesitate to drink or buy for what it is.
