If you could divide this wine in half--the merlot carried the sweet violet nose while the cabernet delivered substance on the palate. Best available in a small town LCBO.

Nose is full, with dried fruits. Taste is very smooth, medium to full body, not perceptibly tannic. I would say it is more-ish. Probably would not improve any more with age, but is certainly not over the hill. This accompanied Indian food very well.
