Really lovely soft green apple and lime initially, white flowers and stone fruit, maybe papaya or a little tropical on palate. Dryer finish than expected which balances fruit. Very nice indeed.

Shiny yellow, structural, with aroma of toasted almond, oaky, savoury notes of cheese bakes, the rubbery scent of an aged white, & the taste is mineral, salt, pear and lengthy finish. Very Interesting Chardonnay! Well crafted !

Last night this tasted impressive next to the St Aubin En Remilly from Colin. Retasted both at obligatory Thanksgiving leftovers lunch today and I have completely swapped my preference. St Aubin tasting much more balanced, with taut acidity and restrained power showing lots of promise whereas the Carrick is tasting clunky, oak dominating the fruit.
