David Duband Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers

Slightly candied red fruit, surprisingly slightly gamey notes for this stage of development, as well as smoke / earth. Very mild oak noticeable , and a reasonable amount of tannins. Not much of a finish and lacked any real complexity. It felt somewhat out of balance and a bit hollow at this stage, even after several hours of being open. I wouldn't rush back to buy more, though it is clearly still too young and may resolve with time.
