Fresh red apple flavor. On the lighter side for a PS. I did not enjoy this as much as my previous tasting note suggested. Still enjoyable.

Maturing well, still could use few more years. Improved with an hour of decanting. Dark berry liqueur and balsamic notes on the palate.

Nice dark purple color. Decent amount of fruit on the palate. Opened up after an hour, with a nice dry finish. Great QPR. For the price, this is an excellent P. Sirah. One of my better WTSO purchases; makes up for some of the duds.

This second bottle tasted noticeably better than the previous one, which I tasted more than a month ago, a day after delivery. The wine needed air and continued to improve even after two hours. On the palate, it tasted complex and interesting at times but not consistently. Not enough depth and concentration relative to other PS I've tasted over the years. Still, I'd buy it again.

Tasted two days after a week-long shipping in cold weather. Closed down upon opening. After two hours of decanting, the fruit was still not particularly impressive on the palate. Moderate acidity. Tannins are still quite strong; could easily use several more years of cellaring.

I opened this tonight after my 2 year old went to bed and after I got a bunch of housework done. So notes are 9pm and later. The bottle was shouldered at around 8 and I started working on it at about 9:15 so it should have gotten enough air for our purposes. This is a big bold PS, short and simple. Its got 7+ years from vintage and its showing very young still. Its a deep red/garnet in the …

Inky purple color. Nose of dark berries, tar, smoke. Similar on the palate. Good fruit overall but true to its name the gritty tannins are a bit much and overshadow an otherwise decent wine. Retasted at 24 and 48 hours and not much change.

To The Eye: Inky purple, midnight dark, no light passes through On The Nose: Blackberry, spice, white pepper In the Mouth: Kudo’s to Parducci for a Petite Sirah one can drink without tongue shaving after. There is no doubt this is a Petite Sirah, but its very balanced, and no less tannic than many other red wines, including varietals that shouldn’t be. Dark chocolate, modest (not overripe) blackberry. Tannins are present, but not overwhelming. I’d love to toss a bottle …

drank after a night on the town for halloween. a crowd pleaser. dark berry aromas and flavors and some plum. none of the dusty, peppery qualities i like in more complex petite sirahs, and its lacking in that inky, palate-coating weight. it's just a straight, fruity wine to drink now.
