Deep ruby, some garnet at the rim. Nose of raspberry, earth, iron, plum, some tertiary fruit on the dried rather than cooked scale. High acid, low tannin, medium body, medium + flavor intensity, medium + finish. This is better than I expected. In a lovely place right now with primary fruit still prominent but showing some tertiary development and complexity.

World of Pinot Noir Tasting (13 Pinots from Burgundy, Germany, New Zealand, Oregon and California); 12/5/2020-12/6/2020 (Zoom) : Mid warm burgundy color. Very floral (roses), with an earthy note and a touch of citrus zest. Lovely textural palate with great length while keeping light on its feet. Black cherries, red apple skin. Tannins are soft and fine.

Earthy with strawberry and tart cherry notes. Modest effort short on depth and intrigue.

SS BBQ & Wine Night: Black fruits and black tea notes, with some earthiness. Not bad.

Very masculine in the palate. The nose was promising but the wine delivered like Shiraz. Disappointing compared with other tastings of this wine. The mouthfeel was too muddy and the fruit evident in its aroma was not delivered. Doubt that aging will improve it.

Rusty orange tint to the coloring. Nose has some toasty oak and rich red fruit. Floral cherry. Some sage and herbal qualities. Texture is very refined and silky. Good juiciness. All red fruit dominated by cherry. Lovely wine and this not showing signs of slowing down.
