Herbaceous and mineral with zippy fruit. This was delicious and provided enough of what you need with a meal of this kind. Fresh acidity, phenolic grip to add a sense of presence, and tons of limestone infused minerality to give depth. A perfect companion to bridge the gap and connect the broad spectrum of flavors on the table. Silvaner will for now on be a part of my thanksgiving meal.

White pepper, dried oregano, ripe apple, ripe quince, stone and a hint of plastic (maybe from TDN or reductivity, not sure) on the nose. Medium + intensity of aromas. Flavors mostly consistent with the aromas - less plastic though. It's mostly driven by stone fruits. Medium body with medium acid. Drinking well now, though it could age 2-3 more years from here as well. Great pairing with avocado and asparagus served in peanut milk.

Vif avec une belle acidité. Sur les tangerines et des herbes. C`est vraiment frais et il y a une belle tension. Belle allonge et tout en équilibre en finale. Excellent.

Very nice wine for a summer evening but otherwise not very remarkable: clean and pure, with some texture, well-balanced.

A fairly new addition to the Keller lineup, this Sylvaner is serious business and it actually reminded me more of the Feuervogel than I expected. The nose showed notes of flint, musty herbs, and the fragrance of orchard fruit. The palate was the star of the show, as is often the case with Sylvaner/Silvaner.
