The sugar/acid ratio seems more balanced than the last bottle I opened. Lychee, coconut cream, and pineapple with some nutty oxidative flavors adding to the complexity…this has aged nicely and is delicious at this stage.

Nez envoûtant d'apricot, de miel et de cire. Attaque puissante d'apricot, de zeste d'orange/mandarine. Séveux, suave et très long. L'acidité maitrîse admirablement les 100+ g/l de sucre. Très bien. Très longue vie devant!

Definitely sweet and viscous but with ample balancing acidity- this is drinking very well right now and will shine with the right food pairing - Is suggest spicy Thai or foie gras. I can’t wait to see how this evolves with time, seemingly just getting going.

Just so good; consistent with prior notes, with creamy apple and pear flavors dominating followed by notes of citrus, butterscotch, and lemon grass; sweetness and acidity and so well balanced at this point with huge, creamy mouthfeel; so sad that this was my last bottle

A fantastic Auslese. Tropical notes balanced perfectly by minerality. Mouth tingling acidity. Bravo. Even though I am supposed to have 3 bottles of this on CT, somehow this appears to be my last bottle!

this was wonderful. Crystalline and pure. White orchard fruit, lychee, mint and stone. Multilayered with razor sharp acidity. Lots going on but very light on its feet. Reminded me a bit of zilikin. Wow.

Really en fuego. Gorgeous nose of ripe pears, river rocks, and jasmine. Luscious palate of honey and coconut cream but with plenty of vivacity and freshness. In a great spot and not a wine to make old bones, but simply irresistible right now.

Brought to wine tasting at Brian and Alpa's and had with dessert. Cork was leaking slightly, and there was a hint of oxidation that went away with air. Overall, this was really nice. It is moderately sweet but not too much, and the excellent acidity balances the sweetness very well. Nice citrus notes and a slightly creamy feel. Paired very well with a pear and a lemon dessert. Love the overall balance and elegance of this.

Opened by Emilio. Lower acidity. Notes of pear and apple but this seemed to be closed to me which is quite common for Auslese with 4-9 years of age. Not as sharp as when I had this in 2009 with a muted finish. Hold for another 3 years before opening and this should shine again. 89+ points.

Intense, pure primary nose, slate and a mix of green and tropical fruits. Incredible length, still full of primary fruit and bursting with energy. Very delicious but with ohh so much more to give.

This is going to be very special down the road. Incredible concentration and precision, that I have not encountered in a young riesling. This is bursting with energy, but is very primary - didn't really move much in two nights. Extremely pleasing today, but better in 5-10 years. 93+++

Cuban Dinner at Emilio's Home (Miami, Florida) : Another Emilio wine. This wine was all about future expectations. So youthful, fresh and vibrant at the present time. It had a spicy nose. Ripe fruit with some anise and white fruit. Powerful acidity and a little spritz. Lots of room for improvement here. 92-93+ points.
