Surprise , light color, good fruit, tannic but balanced, very drinkable doe a young Nebbiolo, good value, drank with Risotto with shrimp and chorizo, would drink again.

4hr decant. Pours a day bright ruby red in the glass. Nose and palate show very tart cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate, followed by bitter orange peel and rosehip, chalk, and a mean green streak. Midpalate is hollow dominated by grainy tannins and thin, acidic, under-ripe fruit despite the abv at 14%. Finish is a wall of underwhelming tart fruit and tannin.
