Drinking well, but could easily go another three years. Savoury blackberry/stewed plum flavours abound.

Dark Purple colour with medium intensity. Smells lavender, lillies, Blackberries and dark plum. On the palate, medium bodied to full bodied, sour plums and liqourice. Very elegant mouth feel and very fresh acidity. Really delicious now and will improve further. Highly recommended. What a bargain!

Really enjoyed this wine. Had a very European, almost Rhone, feel to it. Definitely not you typical (South) Aussie shiraz. The palate is very fruit driven with some earthy undertones. Outstanding value for money!

Thought I had been robbed here. After opening there was little discernable individual taste, and very little structure, after half an hour not much had changed. After an hour it started to reveal itself, and after an hour and a half it was a pretty good wine. This is more of a "Rhone" style, so fairly different to most Aussie shiraz (phew), and it has very light tannin. It will cellar gracefully for a while, and it still needs time …
