Wines of South Africa (Fix St. James, 111 Elizabeth Street, Sydney) : Deep ruby, clear with legs. Clean and developing with medium intensity, jammy black and red fruit, slight oak, spice. In the mouth the wine is dry with medium plus acid, high tannin, dry, tough, sinewy, medium alcohol, body and flavour intensity with flavours of generic red and black fruit. Nah.
