The nose needed quite a bit of air to wake up, it was very shy at first. With some air, it became very lemony with mineral notes and flint. High acidity on the palate with a lovely lemon (juice) note, crushed rocks, green apple, and citrus zest. Nice finish. A lovely wine that is very enjoyable now, although it doesn't have the complexity or depth of the Manon.

Very reductive, but clears quickly. Natural wine energy, quite vibrant.

Slight funk on opening. Decanted for 1 hour. Heaps of apple on the nose - my wife thought it was cider when she smelled it at first. There’s also a pronounced flinty smell and perhaps some smoke in the background. Mild grassy herbaceousness too. Very high acidity on the palate. More apple and some citrus next. A tiny bit of CO2 remains. Very long finish which mellows and develops wonderfully in the mouth. Really well made. An absolutely fantastic Aligoté.

Fresh apple and citrus. Good acidity. Nice length. Refreshing. Very good even on 2nd day. Not cheap
