Superb example of a wine maker letting the grapes express themselves--citrus and pineapples (already mentioned in other reviews). Will have to find another fix. The wine looks Yellow gold colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Lemon, and Pineapple.

Light golden color. Nose of waxy yellow fruits and burnt almonds. Palate follows the nose, but the oxidative notes obscured the flavors and made it a bit difficult to finish a single glass. I'm rating as flawed because of the pronounced oxidation.

to my tastes, the oxidative notes (not horrid but unmistakably there) were sufficiently strong to make this a bit of a chore to drink. Beneath that, there seemed descent body, crisp texture, lemony/citrusy

Nice citrus fruits, slight melon slight mango, almost an orange creamsicle on aftertaste. Nice floral element. Slight acidity. Really well knit. Really enjoyable.

Wow! This wine was just singing. Nose of citrus fruit, lemon zest, a touch of toast and pineapple. The palate was complex and full bodied but at the same time very refreshing and juicy. I am so sorry this was my last bottle. I had a bottle about a year ago that was much more reserved. The extra year of cellaring really did a lot to this wine.

Pale golden yellow. Really interesting nose that reminded me of white Hermitage. White flowers, banana skin, honey comb and graham. Rich on the palate with just a touch of sweetness.

Retailer tasting (@ LBV) : A lot of young oak and good fresh acidity. The wine reminds me of the more complex Northern Rhone wines. Long aftertaste. Luxurious wine. Maybe I score it even too low because it still is so young.
