Nice everyday Bourgogne. Seemed to be all pinot noir, not Beaujolais, as some have suspected. popped & poured, didn't improve much, but for $9, not a bad deal!

Light, fruity, simple Burgundy that, as others noted, comes across almost more Beaujolais (i.e., more Gamay than Pinot). Notably fruity, but there's some nice barrel character in the aroma. Slightly tart finish that fades quickly. Essentially a good table wine.

If I'd have been tasting this blind I think I would have said it was a Beaujolais villages from a ripe year. Light, primary and just a vestige of Pinot character as it open up but not much. Light cherry red flavours - pleasant but unremarkable.

Light brick color. Pretty red cherry aroma with christmas spice & vanilla. Very interesting nose. Light, clean entry of red cherry flavors that are lean but OK. Serviceable Pinot Noir at a nice price.
