Best night I’ve had with this one. Sad that this is my last bottle. Intense, impactful and loaded with character. Gonna miss it.

Big and brassy. It never quite balances out or sings in perfect harmony, but who wants perfect? Really. This one rocks and rolls and surprises at every turn, dancing and singing beautifully with the food.

A sumptuous marriage of Sangiovese and Cabernet. Deep garnet color and a bountiful nose of dark fruit and earth. Still fresh on the mid-palette, even for an '09, with cocoa notes, firm tannins and plenty of pepper on the finish. Don't get mad, but I paired it with some Pollo Loco for a random dinner with The Wife on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Turns out it was a match made in heaven (both the wine and wife pairing hehe).
