Rainstorm Rainstorm Pinot Noir, USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley

My wife and both enjoyed this as a solid Pinot. A little better second day. Would buy more.

Fruity with a little acid

Pale ruby with a touch of effervescence on the rim. The nose offers up medium intensity aromas of strawberry, cherry, cranberry, singed alder, cinnamon, pomegranate syrup and a tart red apple. The palate has juicy acidity that is medium along with very lithe tannins. Medium bodied- I get the same red fruit driven flavors with a kiss of oak. Served by the glass at Polaris Club in O’Hare Airport. Got the last glass from the bottle, so I’d call this a four hour slow ox. Somewhat deep magenta color. Wild strawberry, cranberry, and minerality on the generic Oregon Pinot nose. Smooth, dry palate, with soft, tongue coating acidity. Minimal tannins on the medium finish. The acidity lingers.
