Floral and earthy on the nose and somewhat muted. Flavors of black cherry, new leather, beef broth, baking spice. Soft but present tannins with a slightly drying and very lingering finish. Still drinking well and similar to my last bottle a few years ago....seems to have slowed down in ageing, so unknown on how long this peak will last.

Well balanced and a great example of a mid aged wine. Plenty of soft fruit and leather with a moderately firm backbone left and a long finish.

Two hour decant. It's drinking a little flat. I think it's winding down.

Nice mix of red and blue fruit. Bright acidity, really nice weight and texture. Paired with Chinese food.
