Pale lemon, aromas of peach, pear, apricot, apple, lemon, lime, honey, nuts & toffee. Nice weight and texture with strong acidity. To taste apple, pear, lemon, lime, peach, caramel & smoke. Long finish. Very good. Lovely balance and flavours. Drinking great but no rush.

Light gold, lovely nose of apricot, peach, grass & butter. Coating mouthfeel with nice body and acidity. Nose repeated on palate, citrus & apricot. Long finish. Happy to be the only Chardonnay fan in the house and drank over 3 evenings. Fabulous.

Made from Essex fruit in urban winery in Cambridge. This is gorgeous stuff. Initially lean and limey, but it fill out with time open bringing lemon and satsuma notes with a noticeable toast and toffee from the oak. This definitely has masses of ageing potential. I'd love to try again in a couple of years. Might be the best English chardonnay I've had. I love the style, it is lean but perfectly ripe. Hard to make a comparison, but it's …
