Terranoble Syrah

Well balanced, structured and very drinkable right now. Deep in color, medium + in body, long finish and dry to the palate.

I drank 2 of these bottles about a year ago and loved them. Great value. This particular bottle however was relatively disappointing. It had a funny smell upon first opening. After a day of sitting out though it improved a great deal and was closer to how I remembered it from before. I bought 6 this time in total so hopefully they are better than the first.

This wine poured out thick, with tons of tiny sediment. Even clogged the screen in the aerating funnel. Deep purple, almost black in color. This is a deep, rich wine. Not very complex, but what it does have will satisfy. Deep dark stone fruit and blackberry, with a touch of creamy vanilla, oak, and cedar.
