Decanted 4 hours before serving. Bright red fruits came through on this one, particularly raspberries and strawberries at the finish. Smooth tanins and well balanced, delicious wine.

See 4/30/12 comments. Tanins have smoothed, drinking well now. Brought to Labor Day BQ; drank with oysters, clams, salmon and ribs.

Decanted one hour. Tastes great, but should peak with another couple of years. Darker fruits, cola and cassis flavors, with more body than a typical pinot noir; but not a wannabe syrah or cab either. Drank by itself with friends, but this would be wonderful with either roast pork or even pulled pork BQ.
