By the glass at the BA lounge. Fresh bottle by the looks of it. Quite a classic Bordeaux nose, blackcurrants, light herby, light spice. On the palate it shows the forwardness of the 2010 vintage, kept in check on the ripeness and extraction and drinks quite well at this stage. Firm grippy tannin and decent acidity. A solid wine and a very good 89

I asked a wine store to try to beat the PQR of their competitor's Chateau Guerry with earth and tobacco, and not thin at 130DKK. They offered Château de Camarsac Cuvee selection vielles vignes and this one. Its more tannic, but a bit soda like, and licorice, red fruits, a bit of wood . not as fat as the guerry and camarsac. It has that cheap feel over it, but not like a cheap supermarket wine, but as if its …

This is a decent 2010 Bordeaux with characteristic super heavy tannins, a bit tight, not a huge amount of fruit at this point. Much prefer the 2010 Lanessan for the same price, but the Landat is not bad, if not exciting.

Popped and poured with BBQ Brisket/Ribs. Took a few minutes to open up but then showed some fruit. A bit muted. A lot of sediment. Drink up.

Black currant, red cherry, oak and old leather on the nose. Bone dry with quite ripe tannins for the vintage. Flavors of red berries, Asian spice and oak lead to a dusty finish.

Very tight nose overall, earthy, some pine and oak around a core of very subtle black and red fruit, like tart cherry, also an edge of menthol. Palate had slight minerality, oakey front, undertones on mid of unripened fruit (tart), finish is awash, short with super fine or soft, complex tannin structure.

What a great find for a half size bottle. At a $10 range and as an everyday wine I enjoy it very much. Nice blend, smooth, no bite @ all and I love the oak smell and aroma that came with it.

Light black raspberry over cherry nose, and the same for the wine, although the black raspberry overwhelms the finish. Bit of an acidic bite at the end as well. Good length. Nice solid claret with some years left. 75% CS, 20% Merlot, 5% PV, 13% alcohol.
