DP Barcode #s, Pinot Noir, and Sweeties (DeeCee) : Another beautiful bottle of this. Amber colored and full of apricot and grilled peaches, some nutty and creamy notes, and some orange rind to round it out.

Pours a darker gold than most CA chards ... nice creamy mouth feel, nice stone fruit on the nose and palate. Went well with shrimp.

From 375 ml - Medium orange color; creme brulee, caramel apple, dried mushroom nose; tasty, silky textured, creme brulee, dried mushroom, caramel apple palate with good balancing acidity; long finish (13.5% alcohol; natural cork)

Elements of Wine 2021 - My Class at GnG; 2/7/2021-12/31/2021 (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA) : Tasted side-by-side with the 2015 vintage. I preferred the rich viscosity and concentrated flavors of 2015 over the earthy, slightly mushroom-like profile of 2014. Both were really good with perhaps the '14 having a longer life due to a touch more acidity.

Lighter and less dense than anticipated, but it's quite nice. Has an interesting herbal streak to go with the honey and tropical fruit. Nicely done.

Very typical of a CA chard with its buttery bites of oak.
