Last bottle for me. Which is disappointing as this is drinking very well right now. It will last another 5 years if kept well. Definitely some ageing notes, but nicely in balance.

More substance than most NZ Pinot Noir, somewhat less fruit driven and more burgundian in style. A good, complex wine, which will age a few years yet I am sure. Dark colour for a PN, spice and fruit on the nose, earthy in a pleasant way on the palate, tannins present but not obtrusive.

Similar flavour profile to last time. Light to medium body, with cherry, earth and some plum. My sense this time is that the balance is just slightly off, hence the lower score. Decent enough for the price I paid, but not quite value for list.

This is a lighter weight pinot with a savoury backbone and decent structure. Definitely in the cherry spectrum with some earthy notes. Mid length and decent acidity. Enjoyable. No reason this shouldn't last a few more years.
