DF1962 is correct in his review of last year, with the supposition that this wine is not really built to age... On nose: faint grilled pineapple. On palate: the above flavour note present, as well as roasted buttered almonds, seville orange, clean acidity,some oak, hay, some fennel ....but the underlying softness, welded to a carmelized aftertaste suggest some oncoming oxidation....odd for a wine with 40% Semillon, noted for its ageability....perhaps an off bottle? Went well with red snapper tonight.....but perhaps …

New World white BDX blend..... On nose: ginger, mace, ripe apple and a ghost of oak. On palate: all above flavours amplified, with ripe white grapefruit, honeydew rind, roasted hazlenuts, on a full flavoured medium body, a creamy finish, balanced with clean acidity....only lacking the minerality of a white Graves/ Pessac....but who's complaining?...different soils, different outcome.....5 years old, can age further. Went well with roast chicken, green beans and potato salad this evening.....60% Sauv Blanc- 40% Semillon .

PnP. Clear medium golden colour. Clean. Medium(+) intensity with aromas of lime marmalade grilled pineapple lemongrass hay and a touch of vanilla. Dry. Medium acidity. Medium alcohol. Medium body. Medium(+) intensity with flavours of lime grilled pineapple lemongrass and a hint of vanilla. Medium(+) finish. Very good. Drink now not suitable for further ageing. Delicious rich racy and complex in a real sweet spot.

PnP. Consistent with previous note. Like this a lot. Complex and rich with lots of finesse.

PnP. Has some weight with flavours of peach melon rind and lime peel. Nice acid spine keeps it fresh on the finish.

Un chardo avec des notes d'élevages bien présentes mais bien dosées. Nez sur des arômes beurrées et de fruits blanc confits. Ample, rond, gras et glycériné. Bcp de matière en bouche encore sur des saveurs beurrées et de noisettes. L'acidité le maintient dans un équilibre intéressant. Longue finale. Appelle un repas plus que l'apéro..

An interesting and distinctive wine. Medium gold, toasty, leesy, honeyed nose. On palate, it offers a jumble of disparate flavours, but overall is pretty tasty. There is a whisky/caramel note, but also singed pineapple, and something higher toned in the finish that I can't quite put my finger on. It is actually quite complex for the price.
