Picked this up as an every day drinker. Tipped by Guide hachette with some competition gongs for what they are worth. A Malbec from Bordeaux AOP. Deep garnet colour, nose a bit indistinct but some red and black fruit aromas. Very smooth in the mouth, lots of fruit initially followed by distinctive spicy notes. It is surprisingly light bodied. It’s already drinking well and good for a couple more years. Good value at EUR5,50.
