Delicious on the nose - hawthorn, yellow apples, honey. Mouthwatering acidity on the palate but slightly bitter and hot finish despite only 12.5% alcohol

Despite the fact that my Kermit Lynch mailer said this was ready to drink in 2023, I suspect we may have opened this much too early. Lovely greenish gold colour; fresh nose with notes of peach, white flowers, quince and citrus. Lemon pie, stone fruit, and a bit of minerals but not a whole lot of interest on the palate; slightly bitter but low in acid. This felt not flabby but somewhat disjointed and not in focus.
