Jane Eyre Côte de Nuits Villages

Beautiful nose as soon as you pull the cork through to the glass of violets, raspberry and red currents, good acidity, medium red/purple in colour, an enticing sweetness at first on the palate mixed with a residual of tannins, flavours of red berry ,slight plum and then dark fruit mainly cherry. There is weight and length to this village. Very enjoyable now with aging capabilities. Well made !!

Dark; up front, brash, flattering low acidity, solid, lacks definition. Fully ready, no upside likely.

Dark red, good acidity, slight nose of flowers ,mostly flavours of raspberry with minor dark fruit and has a lingering sweetness. Mild tannins. Good length. Drinking well early with the stuffing to age well. Excellent made village.

A nose of fruit/flowers. A good sweetness to this dark red /purple coloured Pinot. Good acidity with a generous extraction of dark fruit flavours. There is a slight dryness from the tannins. Excellent village with weight and good body. Great drinking pinot. Wish I had bought more as a daily drinker.

A little reductive. Spicy brambles. Aniseed and faint Campari. Crunchy, very good.

The perfect red with steak.
