Mmm, delicious, poised, aged Savennières. Clear eye of deep gold-copper, shows its age. Notes from memory, subdued nose, cider, apple, some mineral. Lively enough acidity, but broad on the palate. A bit reminiscent of aged white Burgundy, but different flavor profile. Cider, yeast, stone, butter, white flowers. Very pleased with this. Will keep another bottle for a while.

Big mineral and acid, as to be expected, but something odd in the nose that was disagreeable that I can't put my finger on. Need to try another.
