Nose on this is really lovely. Deep tertiary raspberry in a French manner. Tannins entirely dissolved. Feels somewhat hot, which prevents me from getting much tertiary and fruit without coughing. Still a light ruby color. Nice

Final bottle from the case purchase way back when. Previous bottle was about 2 years ago, at which time I noted that it had not evolved as much as I was expecting. I recently opened my last bottle of the 2013 Berserker's Cuvee which was clearly past peak and on the decline, with fruit faded and was just not drinking very well (though still somewhat enjoyable). In any case, I'm happy to report that this 2014 is still very much …

Something off with this bottle, unfortunately. Never came around, rough and unsettled. Too bad!

Stunningly beautiful today. Rose petals on the nose, cherry cranberry, earthy, mushroom. I don’t think it’s in decline at all… acidity still strong and tannins are present. What a wine!

The best QPR new world Pinot I've purchased. Another superb bottle tonight. Grade of A. Thank you Jim Anderson!

When I think about what Jim sold this for, this is truly a QPR king. I’d still be happy if I had paid $50 a bottle for what I am tasting right now. Tart red fruit on the palate (cranberry?), good acidity and no indication whatsoever that this wine is getting tired. 🍷👍

I was wowed by this bottle. Seems like the timing was right as everything was pulling together. Lots af savory notes to compliment the dark cherry underlying fruit. Mushroom, undergrowth a long coating finish.

Been about 4 years since my last bottle, and it doesn't seem to have evolved very much. It's pretty wound up still with structure and the bitter orange peel (especially noticeable on the finish) has only seemed to become more prominent. Still, this was pretty good with Easter ham and it has the stuffing and structure to evolve more.

Bottle was tired. Brownish color and no fruit. May have been flawed. A shame as it was my last bottle of two cases. All others were just fine.

Drinking well, steady as she goes. Still a rather big and ripe pinot, at least by Patty Green standards, in keeping with the vintage. For that though, a fairly complex and quite enjoyable wine. I didn't notice the glycerine mouthfeel I'd previously found in this wine, so perhaps time has brought better integration. Drinking really well right now. At peak? Perhaps, but I suspect it will drink well in another 5-10 years. Three bottles left.

More cranberry notes showed initially then giving way to red and darker fruits, earth, forest floor. Some brighter acidity shines through on the backend. I have 1 bottle left of this wine, which has many years left in it.

Very good this time, but it took some air to come around. I'm finally realizing how young these wines are. Very high quality, but just gotta be patient!

This was the best showing for this wine we've had. It continued to open up and become more aromatically expressive over the few hours it lasted. Enough complexity to make one want to sip rather than gulp. This bottle, 92-ish points

First of these in quite some time. Still shows a bit of 2014 coarseness, but then I have always found 2014 to be brutish. Once the palate adjusts it's really quite nice. On the denser side of how I usually like my PN but still good. Lots of brown spice notes. No hurry here, still improving I think.

Cellared since release, perfect cork and fill. Medium red. Mouthwatering nose, cherry, citrus, earth, medium body, fine balance, a bit of complexity, medium finish. Excellent.

Pleasantly surprised when a child to whom I had gifted this bottle 2 years ago poured it to accompany some Swordfish sandwiches. Still holding forth in all respects- nice nose, tart cherry and some spice on the palate with a medium finish. Pleased a have a few bottles left for the Christmas holidays.

I am glad I tucked a few of these away, as this has matured nicely. Red and black fruits, spice notes, and good persistence on the palate - very nice. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Medium ruby color with transparency. Aromas of dark red fruits, earth, mushroom, clove, dry spices, orange peel, and some floral. Medium body, high acidity, long finish, a bit of alcohol burn (made me check the bottle to see the 14.7% listed, a bit elevated), and flavors of high toned red fruits, cinnamon, red hot candy, lemon, orange peel, and lingering spice. A spicy and flamboyant pinot here. Worked well with our New Year's Day roasted pork with sauerkraut, collard greens, …

Light color, mushroom, hay and musty nose. Evolved over an hour, and improved. Suttle fruits and soft on the palat. Light to no tanins.

PNP. Cork perfect. Color super dark ruby. Nose new world w cherry vanilla and earth. Swishing shows deep cherry that is spicy, showing some acid structure and some sweet tannins sneak in at the end. Sipping actually accentuates the alcohol a little, but there is admirable intensity and depth to this. This is a little slutty, but we all enjoy that once in awhile right?

Aromas of mushrooms, forest floor, pine, and a touch of minerality. Palate has a touch of chewiness to it but is very approachable. Touch of a metallic flavor on finish but not necessarily off putting. Very good, interesting wine. Starting to be a big fan of PG cellars.

Sweet cherries, some spice, subtle hint of vanillay oak, silky tannins, good acidity. Juuust enough tannin to hold it together. No real complexity, which means while pleasant this is unexciting. Not one to age, I think.

Floral perfume on the nose, ripe red cherry and strawberry, light oak touch. Sweet fruit up front, open for business. Not very broad or complex. Could gain some complexity with time but no harm to drink now. Good effort.

Lots of stones, where the Missoula Floods emptied into the Pacific. Angular aromas to the nose. Raspberry fruit aromas, but more mineral than fruit. Quite the lift to the aromas. Angular palate, but nice concentration. They dry farm, go for early approachability, but built for longevity.

Spicy and a bit of oak oak on the nose. The palate follows this sequence as well. I tasted as I poured it into the decanter and it was hot and closed off. After a 3 hour decant it was much better. I could find the fruit which was a bit hidden earlier. Not my fav 14 PGC this far but solid non the less. Def too early to drink but this was sacrificed early to see if I need …
