It's not obviously flawed, but should have drunk it about ten years ago. Oh well. Flat, tasteless. Viscous, but lacking any real flavor at this point.

Pop and pour. I was worried that this wine was going to be dead on arrival. Rich yellow in color, melon and mango on the nose. A touch of acidity on the finish, but mostly round and viscous. This wine was much better than I expected. I was excited about this wine because it was much better than expected.

the viognier definitely showed even with it only being 1/3 of the fruit. had the waxy nose that i liked and tropical fruit as well. was very cloudy in the glass. not sure if i waited a bit too long, but was a nice wine.

This had everyone thinking well made Cali Chardonnay, done with a light hand. Rich and buttery, showing some wood, though also a ton of honeycomb, pear, and the warming nuttiness of age. With some time open, more of the Viongier floral notes appeared - mostly honeysuckle, tangerine and other tropical fruits. Still big, but not heavy in the mouth, this is settling nicely into late middle age. Wish it had a tad more acidity to brighten it up, though.

Disappointingly short length, lacked much interest or complexity. I've tried a few pax now, mostly perhaps too early in their life. This was perhaps too late already.

Yellow/gold. A bit cloudy. Nose of honey, straw. Tart, with straw and citrus (grapefruit) on the palate. Good wine, I think will be better with food.

traw color, cloudy, nose and palate of viognier. Rich, somewhat fat taste, but good accompaniment to fish. A little bitterness on the finish.

Great white. Beginning to get secondary tastes but still has some time - at least 2 more years. I wish I had more.

Less distinct varietal character than I remember from previous bottles, but still a very nice white.

Delicious, beginning to show secondary characteristics, but for my taste still has plenty of time. Sorry that was my last bottle.

Cloudy gold. Rich, fat white with balanced citrus fruit and plenty of depth. Paired decently with chicken curry.

Continues to be delicious, opens up after an hour or so, rich aromas of some kind of fruit tart, with smoothmouthfeel and bitter honey flavors. Very good despite the uncalled for price tag.

Great blend of Viognier aromatics and Roussanne flavor and body. An easy drinking crowd pleaser.

Pax Tasting (Brookline) : Wow. While the 2005 seemed to steadily decline, this has improved significantly. Cloudy and straw-colored, it offered a nice bouquet of flowers and tropical fruit. Tropical fruit flavors mingle with white peach dominating. A refreshing citrus zest and firm minerality carried the wine across the palate. Nicely balanced and overall great stuff!

This wine is showing it's first signs of age! It's color is deepening ever so slightly from a light straw to deeper yellow. The high aromatics are beginning to decline. The flavors are not as fresh as I remember last. Ahh, perhaps it's time to try the 2007's. I think I have only one bottle left of my twenty four purchased. Thank you Tripp!

Straw color, little cloudy, very soft, full-bodied, forward on the palate, floral and apple fruit with tart flavors, seemed a disjointed with the appley Rousanne fruit dominating

In the glass, cloudy golden-yellow. On the nose, honeysuckle and lemon peel. On the palate, crisp but smooth, with a balanced mix of honey, lemon, minerals, and a touch of oak, with a slightly, slightly hot finish, not enough to detract from the wine significantly, but just enough to be noticeable. This vintage is much more balanced than the previous vintages I've tried.

This is one of the many bottles I have consumed! I love this wine which was made by Pax and Donelan. Great aromatics especially when allowed to breath a bit. Nose of lemon and pineapple. Flavors of orange rind mixed with honey suckle and vanilla. An awesome viscosity to this wine as it clings to the sides of my class. A great "value" for the amount of "fun in the glass" you receive from this wine. This is my second …
