I just love all Mike Smith wines. He and Russell Bevan just make my style of wine!This wine is outstanding especially for the QPR. Drinking very well right now. Smooth, but with some tannin present. Cherry nose and mid palate. Bravo.

Being a Mike Smith fan, I was anxious to try this wine. I was not disappointed. Lush ripe fruit with a silky texture that coated the mouth. The oak was supportive, not over-bearing. The tannins had grip but kept in the background. Layers and complexity working well. Truly a decadent fruity Napa red

Nice impressive plush and ripe cab. Showing nice fruit up front with a tasty back end. Extremely smooth and clean.

Popped an poured, initially was a touch flabby and had an edge (89). Day 2: What a difference!! The wine had opened and the initial prune taste disappeared and was replaced with cassis and dark chocolate. The wine enveloped the mouth and had a wonderful and long finish. I know the '09 is better and have heard the '10s are the best yet. Can't wait!!! This is under the radar and Mike Smith has done a great job. If you …
