Initially fresh and spicy with pleasing acidity and tannins. At first savoury, but then sweet fruit kicked in and so did the warmth, spice and alcohol, yet strangely enough there was a touch of bitterness on the finish. A touch weighty and unbalanced but still eminently drinkable. CHP 87pts
