Medium ruby, with bare fade at rim. Violets and rose petals and herbs in the nose. Brightly tannic and dry, earthy. Somewhat reminiscent of Nebbiolo. Very tasty, and not at all alcoholic despite 14% ABV. Great introduction to Sangiovese/Sagrantino blend.
