This was exceptional, drinking near perfectly right now. Black currant & Pomegranate give to the much more complex balsamic, leather saddle, leaf decay and fresh moss, iodine, and salinity. This tastes so much like a fall walk in the forest. I am so glad I waited to drink this. The warmer it gets in glass, the more earth, baked cheese, and a bit of old sourdough bread rind cone out. Ada says: drink now, never had a wine like this!

Dry and fresh in the nose and natural, tangy, and sweet with surprising depth on the palate. Very appealing.

Wet bursts of fresh, natural cherry, plum and seeet lime with a long, bright, chocolatey finish.

70% Cot (Malbec) and 30% Gamay. Winemaker is Thierry Puzelat (Touraine). Aged 10-12 months in a mix of barriques and demi-muids. Aromas of incense, earth, pine, and then crushed red fruits. Palate is reverse with high toned red and black berries, pine, herbs, earth, and incense. Light to medium bodied and completely different from any new world malbec.

67% Côt 33% Gamay. A little darker and slightly more tannic than a Loire Gamay (still nowhere near an Argentinian Malbec.) Rustic, animalistic nose, perhaps a tad more stinky than your average natural wine. Dark raspberries, a savory hint, a hint of orange rind bitterness but no detectable oak. Got a little better with air/time, and even better on day 3 (had it tasted like this from the beginning I had probably given it 90 p.) so I'd recommend a …

Conforme au millésime, plutôt plus frais que la moyenne, au fruité bien éclatant et acidulé, cerise aigre, une touche de poivre, c'est évidemment très souple et peu tannique, non filtré. Partagé avec plaisir entre cinq amis.

Light mouthfeel, probably the really low ABV of 12%. Problem here is brett, started out as just barnyard nose but turned poopy with air. Good cherry and raspberry flavors. Could be decent but our evil friend uncle brett stunk up the party.

Again Fresh with minerality. But heftier in the middle with dots of real red pepper flakes. Tastes "natural." Fascinating ... but not winning me over.
