Good wine, bright and acidic. Not overly complex. Went well with all the flavors and richness of Thanksgiving meal. Bright red fruit and light on any tannins or savoriness.

Good Solidly good wine and might have been better with a decant instead of PnP and on to the meal. Vibrant red fruits, a bit sweet on the nose, very smooth, some vanilla. Easy and pleasing, but simple, it falls into the supermarket wine category. I want to taste more from this producer, as I've read good things from voices I tend to trust. Sweet, cloying, artificial tasting, with a ton of wood barrel thrown in. It's a monstrosity. Never again at any price. This is not a natural tasting wine, but tastes like something from a laboratory. Tasted on first and second days, and had similar reactions.

Really great smelling of the initial hit - lots of raspberry on the nose. And more structure on the palate but still with a lovely bit of spice to it. More flush fruit to it. More cola. Maybe even a bit of rasination to it.

Disappointing: dominated by oak especially on the palate. Some hints of mushroom on the nose and a bit of red fruit; even less of those on the palate before being overwhelmed by oak. Why do winemakers do this? At this price point, I expected something very different.
