Nice and appealing nose. Powerful fruit, lots of cherry and spice. Ripe tannin with medium acidity. Nice balanced wine that worked great with pasta with Sunday sauce.

Bright with good complexity. Notes consistent to prior notes. I happened to notice the acidity a bit more with this bottle, which accounts for the slight scoring difference.

Nice reddish brown in color. The nose exhibits cinnamon, red fruits and other assorted spices. The palate is crisp with the spice and fruits nicely balanced. It drinks exceptionally well with Italian fare.

Well structured and balanced. Deep red nose color. A beautiful nose of earth and spice. Super red fruits, earth and spice on the palate. Paired really nice with Italian food. This is really fared well and it should be interesting to see how the additional bottles develop. We enjoyed the 2004s and the 2005 is more of the same.
