Great nose, iodine, dark raspberry and peat. Almost like an Islay Scotch without the smoke and alcohol of course. Still pretty crunchy in the mouth, but its getting better.

Great nose, palate a little disjointed, should come together in 6 months or so.

Great! This is a very exciting young wine with vibrant, almost electric fruit. It is very high in acidity and very food compatible. I had it with a loaded baked potato and it was outrageously good. I could be wrong but I don't believe there is any sense in storing these - drink them now while they are still loaded with fruit and vibrant.

Lovely perfume of dark flowers, ripe fruit, and wet stones. Nice texture and zippy acidity makes this absolutely gulpable, but only for 20 minutes, and then it becomes a vat of raging acidity. Like the red sauce at a bad Italian restaurant, I'm sorry to say. And it's so funny because the nose is lovely all the while.

The nose has some of the most minerality I've smelled in a red wine. Red riesling indeed. The mouth is a little tight and I think a 6-12 month wait will do wonders. Really good, almost as nice as the 04 Brun Fleurie.

Lots of dark berries, fantastic balancing tannins and acidity. Concentrated. Very long finish. The most powerful Beaujolais Cru I ever tasted. I want more :)
