The complexity here was surprising. Herbaceous and foresty through the initial palate. Solid fruit through the palate that gives way to a light strawberry finish. This was ready to go just after open. Half of the bottle sat for a day and deteriorated to 85. Complexity gone, it needs to be fresh.

Nose of cherry and other red fruit, with some leather. Mild tannins and good acid, with a lightly astringent and persistent finish. Soft fruits. Drinking excellently now.
