This is a beautiful wine, one that demands a rich dish as an accompaniment. Last night it was a piece of grilled Alaskan sablefish, plated over a sauce of roasted tomatoes and shallots, blended thickly with cream and tarragon and served with an asparagus risotto. Just enough acidity to cut through the sauce (and the parmesan in the risotto). Delizioso!

This is just singing now. Wonderful citrus and tropical fruit with nicely integrated acidity. Long 30+ second finish. Fantastic job. Will also last a while longer.

Not a huge fan at the moment.. seems in-between development. The wine has a lot going on.. but... it's not really in synch right now for my taste. I'd like to try it again 4-5 years out. The oak seems a bit too pungent and the stems a bit too vinous, for what's happening with fruit & acid right now. I opened & tried it over 2 days. Previously I had a big Ramey chard that came together 2nd day …
