In a good spot now, and likely will continue to improve. Earlier vintages were a gateway wine for me. Three hour decant. Soft red fruit - really got a strawberries and vanilla cream vibe on the palette, and very floral on the nose. Tannins are significantly softened from when I last tasted on release. Enjoyable on its own but paired great will grilled lamb chops. Great QPR for a Super Tuscan.

A good wine. Youthful and fruit forward. For me, I'd wait another 2 years for things to broaden a little, but not bad by any stretch right now. No decant, but splash pour and followed for a couple hours. Crimson colored. medium length legs. There is no sediment in the bottle. Strawberry, cranberry and cherry. The body is light/medium with a more narrow texture. Medium length. Medium acidity.

Fresh and juicy, with a hint of sweetness. Loads of bright red fruit (strawberry and pomegranate), with minerality and medium tannic structure. Great now with many good years ahead.

As opposed to recently drank bottles this one already started having strong tertiary notes like over mature grapes. Thereby it lost its freshness, and it was also visible on the color that reminded of prunes.

Not sure what I was thinking with my first note in March. I’ve had this a few times since and it disappoints more every time. Overly sweet with a harsh iron note. Absolutely no possibility for a food pairing and too tart to enjoy solo. Basically it’s a mess even at the cheap price.

First time trying this and was not sure what to expect. Bordeaux varietals but a wine of medium weight and med-high acidity that keeps an Italian identity. There's lots of red fruit, along with herbal notes that you'd expect from the dominant cab franc in the blend. K often doesn't like cab franc but we both enjoyed this with pizza. Needs about an hour or two open in the bottle to show. Initially full bodied and nothing but overtly ripe plum and purple fruit. With time some elegance does emerge with cedar, dusty earth, iron/minerals, and sweet cherry. Tannins are soft but do grip on the finish. Nice for the price and likely better in a year or two. Very juicy.

Pretty similar to the last bottle almost exactly a year ago. Nice match with with sausage pasta. Still has some tannins and strong acidity but nicely balanced with tart cherry and dark plum fruit. Very nice.

Ran through the Menu decanter. Decent wine after the decant. Cassis and red cherry fruit, earth and barrel notes. Nice paired with grilled pork loin. Day 2 this fell apart and was stewed cherry fruit and nothing else. Gross. Drink now, and finish the bottle.

Intense and quite ripe. This is a tasty and balanced Bdx blend - for sure shows some cab franc - mostly plum and dark cherry fruit, delicous long quite sweet length. Nice wine while keeping Italian identity.

Didn’t decant, but airrated it as I poured. Given the initial reviews of this wine it is a little dissappointing. Citrusy and some barnyard on the nose. Dissappointing fruit and texture. I thought it would have improved from last year, but not really. Two more to go.

Ran through the Menu decanter and then back into the bottle. Had to pour through a strainer as there was a ton of chunky sediment and grit. Great Bordeaux-like nose of cassis, pencil lead and earth. Aromas follow to the palate, with the addition of some fairly hefty tannins that grew in astringency as the wine got more air exposure. I would say I popped this several years too early. Drink 2018 - 2027+.

There is plenty of depth, concentration and intensity but too much "dusty" tannin to chew through for my liking. Quite good, but very young. There is nice ripe fruit, which helps balance out the still formidable structure, as well as herbal nuances that turn tea-like with more air. This will definitely be better with more time, as the structure is rather formidable, but the fruit means that the experience is bearable right now. Food would help as well, but hold if possible.
